Carroll E. Kinsey, 85

Carroll E. Kinsey, 85, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 5:36 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health Lourdes. He was born on May 19, 1936 in North Little Rock Arkansas to the late James W. Kinsey, Sr. and Pauline Posey Kinsey. Carroll was retired from Air Products as a chemical operator. He was a member of Faith Missionary Baptist Church and was saved and is now rejoicing in Heaven. Carroll played basketball for Lone Oak High School and Paducah Junior College. He coached Khoury League Baseball and Elementary School Basketball. Carroll enjoyed gardening especially raising tomatoes. He liked to play golf and got his first Hole in One at the age of 80 in California. Carroll loved his family and spending time with them especially his grandchildren. He was a great story teller and enjoyed telling his grandchildren made up bedtime stories.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sue Shaffer Kinsey; two daughters, Cindy Sawyer and husband, Richard, and Donna Clark and husband, Kerry, all of Paducah, KY; three sons, Brad Kinsey and wife Danielle, of Washington, MO, Brian Kinsey of Evansville, IN and Jordan Kinsey of Wilmington, DE; brother, James Walter Kinsey, Jr., and wife, Barbara, of Paducah, KY; sister, Sandra Kinsey of Paducah, KY; 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

Carroll was preceded in death by a daughter, Pam Johnston; brother, Gordon Kinsey and his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Bro. Harold Draper officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 29, 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
