Mr. Gene Clark, age 81, of Mayfield passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at his residence.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge # 369, attended Trace Creek Baptist Church and he was a retired employee of Coca Cola.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Joan Bell Clark; one son, Rickie Eugene Clark of Mayfield, KY; one granddaughter, April Clark of Mayfield, KY; one step-son, Greg (Mechelle) Bell of Mayfield, KY; two step-daughters, Alecia (Ricky) Ladd and Margaret (Terry) Holder both of Mayfield, KY; eight step-grandchildren; and four step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Roberta Parm Clark; one step-sister, Peggy Webb; and his parents, Alex Clark, Jr. and Virginia Clark Higgins
Funeral services for Mr. Gene Clark will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Sr. and Rev. Ronnie Stinson, Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Roy Clark, Jason Smith, Juventino Castro, James Parm, Alan Burgess and Jim Baker.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Family requests that visitors please wear a mask.
