Russ White, 76

Russ White, age 76, of Paducah passed away at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Life Care Center in LaCenter, KY. Russ has been a member of Immanuel Baptist Church since 1970 and has served as a Deacon and Sunday School Teacher. Russ taught school and was school administrator for 32 years, mostly in McCracken County and 5 years at St. Mary’s. Russ attended Murray State University where he received his Bachelor, Masters, and Rank I degrees. Russ was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan. He was a member of Paducah/McCracken County Retired Teachers and Kentucky Retired Teachers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Nancy Bryan White; one daughter, Amy Lynn White, Paducah; two sons, David R. (Molly) White, Big Rapids, MI and Bradley W. (Cassie) White, Lima Peru; one sister, Doris Kay (Cary) Brubaker, Portage, MI; one brother, L. Wayne (Rose Ann) White, Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Darcy White, Carter White and Olivia White; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Jamie Broome officiating. Burial will follow at Scotts Chapel Cemetery in Livingston County. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
