Raymond was born in Saint Charles, Missouri on September 29, 1941 to Raymond Pearia Sr. and Grace (Moore) Pearia. He worked as an iron worker with JS Alberici and was a member of the Iron Workers Union Local 396. Raymond had many things in his life that brought him joy; he grew tomatoes, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Raymond was happiest when he was surrounded by his children, grandchildren and pets.
He is survived by one daughter, Kendra Hutson (Scott) of St. Peters, MO; two sons, Jason Pearia (Lisa) of Wright City, MO and Stephen Pearia of Winfield, MO; four sisters, Ruthie Watts, Alice Gaines, Pat Peters, and Theresa Steirs; one sister-in-law, Sharon Pearia; six grandchildren, Justin Pearia, Emily Pearia, Madelyn Hutson, Aden Pearia, Nolan Hutson, and Mabrie Hutson; one step daughter; one step son; six step grandchildren; and five step great grandchildren.
Raymond was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara (Dowell) Pearia; his second wife, JoAnne (King) Pearia; three sisters, Gerry Tustin, Mary Eatherton, and Ree Cutright; one brother, Harold Joe Pearia; and his beloved dog of sixteen years, Gabby.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, September 24. 2021 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
A funeral service will be held in Saint Charles, MO at a later date.
