Gwen Goode, age 64, of Mayfield, Ky passed away at 3:33 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the Oakview Nursing & Rehab Center. Gwen was a member of the First Church of Nazarene in Mayfield, KY. Gwen was a graduate of Lone Oak High School and was secretary for the family own business, Goode Trucking & Excavating Company. She enjoyed family and keeping the grandchildren. She especially enjoyed baking and cooking .
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Michael “Mike” Lee Goode, two sons, Michael Lee (Jennie) Goode II of Mayfield, Miles Lynn (Samantha) Goode of Boaz, KY; one sister, Jeanne (Gary) Campbell of Boaz; one brother, Ben (Tammy) Turner, Paducah, KY; four grandchildren, Adam Goode, Anna Grace Goode, Tenley Goode and Jay Cee Goode.
Preceding in death were her parents, Benjamin Joseph Turner and Dorothy Sikes Turner.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home, with Pastor Steve Melvin officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 1:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
