Mr. Larry Thomas Sholar, age 82, of Mayfield passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at his residence.
He was a retired employee of Paxton Media Group.
Mr. Sholar is survived by his son, Stuart (Ginny Victorio) Sholar of Greenbrier, TN; two sisters, Shirley Sholar (Clint) Hardin and Dorothy Sholar (Joe) Cheshier both of Memphis, TN; and one grandson, Larry Thomas “Tom” Sholar II of Greenbrier, TN.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Amanda Linebaugh Sholar; five brothers, Calvin Sholar, Nathan Sholar, Joe Sholar, Lloyd Ray Sholar and George Henry Sholar; and his parents, Melvin and Annie Mae Spillman Sholar.
Funeral services for Mr. Larry Thomas Sholar will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield, KY. Interment will follow at Highland Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
