Carmen Gunn, Hannah Kendall, and Anastasia Shaverina recipients of the 2020 Pat and Bobby Cole Scholarships were recognized at a recent meeting of the Marshall County Republican Women. The young ladies were introduced to the membership and presented their awards. Monies for the scholarships are raised through various fundraising events.
Carmen Gunn attended Marshall County High School and is the daughter of Chris and Melissa Gunn. She will be attending Harding Univeristy. Hannah Kendall attended Christian Fellowship High School and is the daughter of Joe and Jennifer Kendall. She will be attending Campbellsville University. Anatasia Shaverina attended Marshall County High School and is the daughter of Amatelig and Anna Shaverina. She will be attending the University of Kentucky.
Scholarship applications for the 2021 Pat and Bobby Cole Scholarship will be available to graduating senior girls of Marshall County after the first of the year. Information on applying will be announced at that time.
Marshall County Republican Women meet on the Second Monday of every month at Republican Headquarters on the Court Square in Benton, KY. All interested women are invited to attend.
