Mr. James Ray Hamilton, age 77, of Murray, Kentucky died at 1:35am Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. Hamilton was born January 16, 1943 in Trigg County, Kentucky to the late James Edward Hamilton and Nella Mae Knight Johnson. He retired from Hamilton Granite, Marble and Tile and served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Jean Scott Hamilton; daughters, Angela Hamilton Murdock, Murray and Jennifer Cagle (Greg), Gilbertsville; half sister, Debbie Piercefield (Dan), Cadiz; five grandchildren, Tyler Murdock (Ashleigh), Murray, Abby Murdock, Nashville, TN, Kade Cullop, Macrae Cagle, and Tristan Cagle, Gilbertsville; one great grandson, Downs Murdock.
The funeral service will be at 1:00pm Friday, May 29, 2020 at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home with Bro. Brett Miles officiating. Burial will be in the Murray City Cemetery and friends may visit after 11:00am Friday at the Blalock-Coleman & York Funeral Home.
