Karen Barnett, age 59, of Eddyville, formerly of Princeton, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at her home. She was a loving mother and grandmother, who enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She was a homemaker and she bravely battled her sickness with strength and dignity. Karen was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church and active in the Womens Missionary Union.
She is survived by two daughters, Brandi McCormick and husband Brian of Fredonia, and Brenda Odom and husband Tony of Benton; mother Beverly Travis Bell; one sister, Teresa “Sissy” Stallins and husband Randy of Princeton; and one brother Ricky “Mac” McNeeley and wife Jan of Princeton; four grandchildren Leeanna Odom, Jordan Odom, Joel Odom, Justin Odom, and one new grandchild on the way.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles McNeeley.
Visitation will be held at Morgan’s Funeral Home from 4:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday January 15, 2020. Funeral services will be held Thursday January 16, 2020 at 1:00PM, with Bro. Mark Faughn and Bro. Rex Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Rowland Cemetery in Caldwell County.
