DRAFFENVILLE – CFSB held their 41st Annual Watermelon Bust Saturday at Marshall County High School, serving up 2,000 pounds of cold watermelon to a large crowd.
Many make a day of it, heading to the Watermelon Bust after getting their fill of barbecue and political speeches at the Fancy Farm Picnic.
Also a highlight of the annual event are the kid’s games followed by a concert in the Kenneth Shadowen Performing Arts Center that featured the Southern Gospel group The Ball Brothers and the Dueling Pianos of Michael and Amy Pickering.
