RAMP CLOSURE for Milling & Paving at I-69/I-24 Interchange in LYON County on MONDAY, July 23
The contractor on this project outlined int he advisory below plans to mill and pave the I-24 WESTBOUND Exit ramp to I-69 NORTHBOUND at Exit 42 in Lyon County. This ramp from I-24 Westbound at Exit 42 will be CLOSED starting at approximately 8:00 a.m., CDT, on Monday, July 23, 2018.
Milling and paving… of this ramp from I-24 WESTBOUND to I-69 NORTHBOUND will require the ramp to remain closed for about 4 to 6 hours during the day on Monday.
Portable message boards will direct westbound motorists to self-detour by continuing on I-24 Westbound to Exit 40, then heading eastbound on US 62 through Eddyville to reconnect to I-69 Northbound via the I-69/US 62 Exit 71 Interchange.
Appropriate caution is required along the detour route.
KYTC engineers will attempt to provide timely notice when the ramp is able to reopen.
