For veterans suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, a canine companion can make a profound impact on their quality of life.
Judge Executive Kevin Neal said his office may be able to help connect an area veteran in need with a service animal.
“There is a canine available,” Neal said. “It’s not specific to Marshall County, it can be anywhere in western Kentucky, or in some cases southern Illinois. The goal is to get these canines to veterans that have PTSD.”
Neal encouraged anyone with the need to contact his office at 270-527-4750.
