CFS students participate in DECA Region I Conference

Twenty-two Christian Fellowship high school students participated in the DECA Region 1 Conference at Murray State University on January 31, 2018. Approximately 200 students from six chapters in the Western Kentucky region participated in the conference. All twenty-two CFS students qualified for state competition on March 4-6, 2018, in Louisville, KY. Congratulations to all the students who participated. Following are the results:

·       Bailey Barrett –  Hotel & Lodging Individual Event, 1st place
·       Carson Martin –  KY Free Enterprise Basics,  1st place
·       Kenzie Murdock / Carston Murphy – Sports & Entertainment Team Event, 1st place
·       Blayne Starkey / Elijah Toth – Financial Services Team Event, 1st place
·       Jaret Logsdon – KY Job Interview, 2nd place
·       Maggie Choate / Hannah Kendall – Hospitality Services Team Event, 2nd place
·       Brice Etheridge – KY Marketing, 3rd place
·       Jazz Hudson – Entrepreneurship Individual Event, 3rd place
·       Ali Durett / Nathanael Hummel – Buying & Merchandising Team Event, 3rd place
·       Emma Alexander / Edie Little – Entrepreneurship Team Event, 3rd place
·       Boaz Burnett / Wesley Manning – Marketing Management Team Event, 3rd place
·       Drew Cary / Ari Phillips – Travel and Tourism Team Event, 3rd place
·       Beau Garland – KY Sports & Entertainment Marketing, 4th place
