Benton, KY— Get ready for Valentine’s Day with the Humane Society of Marshall County. Join us for Sweetie Paws, an Italian Paw-sta Dinner and Auction fundraiser for the Humane Society of Marshall County.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 3rd, at the First United Methodist Church in Benton, Ky. Tickets can be purchased at the door on the night of the event, which will start at 4:30 p.m. and last until 7:00 p.m.
Event organizer and Board VP, Cindy Hershey stated, “this is the largest fundraiser for us. Without our fundraisers, especially Sweetie Paws, we would have closed our doors long ago. It’s events like this and the support we receive from the community that keep us here and able to help the animals in the area.”
The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under. Your meal includes: pasta with your choice of homemade meat, marina or alfredo sauce, chicken or meatballs, salad, drink and dessert.
The fun doesn’t stop there! There is also a silent auction and dessert auction which will last from 4:30 – 6:15 p.m. and a live auction to take place throughout the night from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. There will be lots of goodies in all the auctions, even Disney Park Hopper passes in our live auction!
All proceeds from this event will go to the Humane Society of Marshall County. For more information, please email Megan Tubbs, Humane Society Board President at megan.tubbs@gmail.com.
A huge thanks to our sponsors: Wacker, CFSB and Richard Reed State Farm.
