UPDATE: KSP reports that Jerrell D. Kinney was located and arrested about 9:15 p.m. Friday in Union City, Tenn. He was being held by Union City Police Department awaiting extradition.

The Kentucky State Police are requesting the public’s help locating Jerrell D. Kinney, 29, of Hickman. Kinney escaped from custody outside the Fulton County Courthouse yesterday afternoon. He is a black man, 6-foot-2, 170 pounds, short black hair and brown eyes.
Anyone seeing Mr. Kinney or knowing his whereabouts should immediately contact the Kentucky State Police or local law enforcement.
The investigation is continuing by Trooper Scott Deshields. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police Post 1 at 270-856-3721 or anonymously at 1-800-222-5555. Citizens may also report tips anonymously through the KSP app.
