A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans milling along US 62 through the Interstate 24 Calvert City Exit 27 Interchange on Saturday, Sept. 30.
Milling along US 62 Extends from near the Lone Valley Road intersection extending eastward through the I-24 Exit 27 interchange to near the Truck Plaza Lane/Loves Truck Stop Entrance.
This section of US 62 is already restricted to one lane in each direction for reconstruction as part of the I-24/Purchase Parkway Exit 25 interchange reconstruction project.
Motorists should be alert for milling equipment and personnel along this section of US 62 throughout the day Saturday. Some delays are possible during the movement and positioning of equipment to facilitate the work.
Once milling is completed, paving will be scheduled along this section of US 62 at a later date.
