Commencement was held Friday evening for the Marshall County High School Class of 2017. This year’s graduating class is made up of 97 Honor Graduates with a total of 303 receiving diplomas. Valedictorians are Caitlin Harvey and Taylor Young and Salutatorians are Jase Baker, Ian Harrington and Shelton Owen.
Student Council President Travis Tack and Senior Class President Claire Edwards addressed their classmates followed by a song by the Marshall County High School Choir. Salutatory addresses were made by Jase Baker, Ian Harrington and Shelton Owen followed by the conferring of diplomas.
