District honors volunteers, bus drivers of the year

The Marshall County School District on Thursday honored its volunteers and bus drivers of the year for each school within the district. Honorees were awarded a plaque and recognized during the April board of education meeting in Draffenville.

Volunteer of the Year honorees were:

  • Laurie Byars – Benton Elementary School
  • Mike Cannon – Calvert City Elementary School
  • Kayla Driver – Central Elementary School
  • Doug Moore – Jonathan Elementary School
  • Angie York – Marshall County High School
  • John Harrington – North Marshall Middle School
  • Brenda Madison – Sharpe Elementary School
  • Melissa Sutton – South Marshall Elementary School
  • Brad Connor – South Marshall Middle School

 

Bus Driver of the Year honorees were:

  • David “Dabo” Hendrickson – Benton Elementary School
  • Christy Bollinger – Calvert City Elementary School
  • Roxie Foley – Central Elementary School
  • Milton Gordon – Jonathan Elementary School
  • Deb Mathis – Marshall County High School
  • Joyce Walker – North Marshall Middle School
  • Karen Scott – Sharpe Elementary School
  • Paula Martin – South Marshall Elementary School
  • Anita Washburn – South Marshall Middle School
