Mrs. Betty Ann York, age 73 of Benton, KY died on Monday, March 6, 2017, at her home. She was a homemaker and member of Olive United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, Edward York of Benton, KY, son, Jeff York of Benton, KY, daughters, Lesa Colburn, husband Steve of Calvert City, KY and Teressa Cutsinger, husband Scott of Calvert City, KY, brothers, Billy Joe Gordon of Benton, KY and Gary Gordon of Benton, KY, and grandchildren, Josh Colburn of TX, Kayla Austin, husband Tyler of Bardwell, KY, and Rease York of Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Elise (Chandler) Gordon, son, Jimmy Euen York, brother, Buddy Gordon, and sister, Loretta “Dimple” Rogers.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Collier Funeral Chapel located at 211 West 5th St. Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Rick Miller officiating.
Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Collier Funeral Home.
