
McCracken County, KY — A joint investigation between the McCracken County and Livingston County Sheriff’s Offices led to the arrest of a Livingston County man on multiple drug and firearm charges Wednesday afternoon.
On June 25, 2025, detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office were contacted by the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office regarding 38-year-old Patrick Bowland, who was wanted on a felony warrant for flagrant nonsupport. Information indicated Bowland may be at a residence in McCracken County.
Just after 2:00 p.m., McCracken County detectives observed Bowland arrive at a residence in the 400 block of South Friendship Road. A warrant check confirmed the outstanding felony warrant out of Livingston County, and Bowland was taken into custody without incident.
A search of Bowland’s person revealed a methamphetamine smoking pipe in his pants pocket. Detectives then searched his motorcycle and belongings, locating additional crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, a sum of cash believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales, and a loaded .45 caliber handgun.
Bowland is a convicted felon and is prohibited from possessing firearms or ammunition. At the time of his arrest, he was also on felony parole stemming from a previous firearm-enhanced methamphetamine trafficking conviction.
Bowland was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
