Zanada Rials was born on December 6, 1937 in Carlisle County, Kentucky. She married the love of her life, Jimmy Rials, on January 31, 1959. This union produced two daughters, Vanessa and Renee.
Zanada loved to garden, especially her strawberries. She enjoyed feeding and watching the hummingbirds in her front yard. She was generous with her love to all of us. No person ever left her home hungry and there was always a soft place to lay their heads. But no job was more important to Zanada than being Mom and Gram. She loved each child and grandchild; she made each one feel loved and special.
Zanada was a faithful member of Burkley Baptist Church. She stepped into arms of Jesus on Monday evening, May 26, 2025. She had accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior and had a very strong faith. She will be interred in Bethlehem Cemetery north of Cunningham.
Zanada is survived by her loving husband, Jim; two daughters, Vanessa Ogden (Justin) and Renee Rials; also, three grandchildren, Kristin Cords (Paul), Stephen Ogden, Marisa Rials; two sisters, Frada Anderson and Tilda Yates (Alan); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ovelia Blackwell; one sister, Lavada Bean; and two brothers, Tilford DeJarnatt and Talmadge DeJarnatt.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Arlington, with Bro. Roger Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery, in Cunningham, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the service time of 1:00 p.m. at Milner and Orr Funeral Home of Arlington.
