Janice Tyree Cash, age 84, of Gilbertsville, KY, passed away May 18, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to loving her family unconditionally. Janice was a faithful member of Gilbertsville First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie C. Cash, of Gilbertsville, KY, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.
Janice’s legacy lives on through her children, Jana (Jack) Kee, Julie (Steve) Fletcher, Jimila (Michael) Fulks, Ruthie (Greg) Bone all of Gibertsville, KY; six grandchildren, Josh (Leslie) Kee of Benton, KY, Janessa (Joseph) Simmons of Calvert City, KY, Matt (Elyssa) Fletcher, Travis (Paige) Fletcher, Whitney (Logan) Taylor and Brittney Bone all of Gilbertsville, KY; she was also blessed with eleven great-grandchildren, Jacy, Jayden and Jett Kee, Jaylee, Jovie and Jordan Simmons, Elijah, Jake and Ada Fletcher, Rhett and Ridley Taylor, Isabella Ledgerwood; sister, Mayme Reed of Calvert City, KY.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Clint and Lorene Davis Tyree; three brothers, Jim Ed Tyree, Weldon Tyree and Billy Clint Tyree.
A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Calvert City Cemetery with Rev. Jack Kee officiating. Filbeck-Cann Funeral Home of Milner and Orr is in charge of arrangements.
