Lady Marshals pick up district win over Christian Fellowship

Christian Fellowship hosted Marshall County in a district match-up on Tuesday. The Lady Marshals won 78-12 to improve to 12-3 while the Lady Eagles fall to 4-10.

Marshall County jumped out to a 7-0 lead before CFS ended the run on a basket from freshman Kylee Hines. The Lady Marshals went on to lead 28-3 at the end of the first quarter led by Kenzlee Terry with 10 points.

CFS freshman, Kylee Hines, led the Lady Eagles with six points.

Nine Lady Marshals scored in the second quarter to extend the lead to 53-6 at halftime, led by Addi Wall led with six points.

A running clock led to a quick second half with the Lady Marshals outscoring the Lady Eagles 25-6.

The Lady Marshals recorded 10 three-pointers led by Terry with three and J.C. Wells with two.

Weather permitting, the Lady Marshals will travel to Lincoln County to play the host in the Patriot Classic on Saturday. Christian Fellowship is scheduled to play at Fulton City on Friday.
