Long-time west Kentucky journalist Bobbie Foust joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. Foust was named the winner of the Al Smith Award for public service through community journalism. Over the years she has edited three newspapers in the region and reported for countless others. And although she is 90-years-old, she continues to write historical articles about the region. Foust will be honored for the Al Smith Award at a dinner October 10th, 2024 in Lexington.
