Paul B. Gruhlke, age 81, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at 8:52 A.M. Saturday, April 6, 2024, at his home.
Paul was born in Harvey, Illinois on Wednesday, March 24, 1943 to Paul and Angela Gruhlke. He found joy on the golf course, serenity while fishing, and excitement on the lanes of the bowling alley. He was a familiar face at Central Church of Christ, where he and his wife Karen were members. He retired after a dedicated career at Westlake PVC Corporation. Paul lived a full life, marked by a kind nature, love for family and a commitment to the things he valued most.
Mr. Gruhlke is survived by his wife, Karen W. Henderson Gruhlke; his daughter, Jessica Matthews of Paducah; his son, Devin Potts of Paducah; his sister, Pamela Gruhlke of Edwardsville, Illinois; and his grandson, Daryl Matthews.
Mr. Gruhlke was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth Gruhlke; his parents, Paul B. Gruhlke, Sr. and Angela Norwicke Gruhlke; his sister, Karen Gruhlke; and his brother, Gerald Gruhlke.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 9, 2024 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Jim Faughn officiating. Entombment will follow at Brook Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the funeral home.
