Barney Burgess, 66 of Paducah, Kentucky passed away at 7:42 PM, Monday, December 18, 2023 at the River Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.
He was born in McCracken County, KY on January 26, 1957. He was a member of New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He loved hunting, fishing and anything involving outdoors or nature. He was always willing to do anything he could to help.
Barney is survived by his brother, Lynn Burgess of Mt. Carmel, Illinois; four grandchildren; his aunt, Glenda Collins of Paducah, KY and two nieces, Kayla Burgess & BreeAnn Burgess.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jeremy Burgess; his parents, Joe & Shirley Seay Burgess & his step-father, Tom Burgess.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Doug Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
