Lady Marshals tied for 3rd heading into final round of the State Golf Championship

Trinity Beth, pictured here in the Regional Tournament, finished today’s first round tied for second with an even par 72 at Bowling Green Country Club.

Round one of the 2023 KHSAA Girls State Golf Championship got underway today at Bowling Green Country Club. The Lady Marshals finished tied for third with Lexington Catholic with a team score of 324 (+36). Sacred Heart will take their lead into day two tomorrow after finishing with 301 (+13). Cooper is in second place with 316 (+28).

Trinity Beth finished today’s first round tied for second place with an even par 72. She is tied with Cooper’s Reagan Ramage. Sacred Heart’s Yun Keira leads the tournament after shooting a 5-under par 67.

Following Beth’s 72 for the Lady Marshals, Katie Roberts shot 81 and is tied for 20th, CeCelia Ray finished with 84 and is tied for 33rd, Brooklyn Cunningham shot 87 and is tied for 56th and Skylar Waller shot 89 and is tied for 63rd.
