Carolyn Sue Richardson, age 84, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at 1:52 P.M. Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
Carolyn was born in Paducah on Sunday, February 19, 1939 to James and Margie Pruitt. She enjoyed spending time at the beach, and was an animal lover, especially dogs. She was a “people person”, and liked to dress fashionably. She retired with over 20 years with Dr. Kerly and Dr. Henry, as a Dental Assistant. Carolyn will be remembered for the love she had for her family.
Mrs. Richardson is survived by her husband of 68 years, Bobby Joe Richardson; her son, Bob Lindell Richardson (Terry) of Kevil, Kentucky; her sister, Glenda Kay Riley of Lexington, Kentucky; her brother, James Stephan Pruitt (JoAnne) of Marion, Iowa; her grandchildren, Nikki Holdman (Tristan) and Brandon Kyle Richardson; her great grandchildren, Illyssa Holdman, Haven Holdman, Lyric Richardson and Chanson Richardson.
Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward Pruitt and Magie Chandler Pruitt; her daughter, Susan Carol Richardson.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Lovelaceville Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Wes Peeler officiating.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 P.M. Sunday, September 10, 2023 at the church.
