Mrs. Callie M. Foster, 93, of Paris, TN, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at AHC in Paris, TN.
Mrs. Foster was born on July 16, 1930 in Whitlock, TN to the late Milton and Mary Louise Kendley Byars. Callie Mae was a homemaker and a devoted Christian, wife and mother. She loved the Lord and adored the family He blessed her with. Mrs. Foster enjoyed cooking, embroidering, gardening and attending her beloved church, Union Grove Missionary Baptist in Puryear, TN.
Those preceding her in death include her husband, Mr. JC Foster; three brothers, Charles, Bobby and Billy Byars as well as one granddaughter, Karen Yvette Foster.
Those left to cherish many wonderful memories include two sons, James Foster (Beverly) of Paris, TN, JW Foster (Erica) of Paris, TN; one daughter, Selena Louise Tharpe (Harvey) of Henry, TN; grandchildren, Andrew Saxton, Charles Saxton, ET Saxton, Jazzlyn Foster, Jerek Foster. Also surviving are two great grandchildren, Martice Thomas and Markus Washum and a host of nieces and nephews.
The funeral service honoring the life of Mrs. Callie Mae Foster is set for 1 pm on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Puryear, TN. Reverend Thomas Taylor will officiate and burial will follow in Hazel Cemetery.
Her family welcomes visitors from 10:30 am – 1 pm on Monday, August 7, 2023 at the church.
