Master Gardener Barbara Ray joined us recently on WCBL’s Coffee Call program. She says now is the time to start saving your seeds for next year’s planting, especially tomato seeds since the prediction is for those seeds to be somewhat scarce next season. Ray also says now is a good time to start mulching, especially for plants on the south side of your home. And Ray will be teaching a Rose Cuttings Class at the Marshall County Extension Office on Wednesday, October 5th at noon. You can call the extension office to sign up at 270-527-3285.
