(McCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky.) — A Paducah woman is behind bars after McCracken County Sheriff’s Office detectives conducted an undercover drug operation that culminated in her arrest Monday.

Hannah L. Terry, 32, was taken into custody April 21, 2026, after detectives with the Sheriff’s Office Drug Division carried out a controlled purchase of suspected methamphetamine from her as part of an ongoing trafficking investigation.

Terry was arrested during a traffic stop on Said Road in McCracken County. At the time of her arrest, investigators say she was found in possession of evidence consistent with illegal drug trafficking.

This is not Terry’s first brush with the law on similar charges. Court records show she carries a prior methamphetamine trafficking conviction out of Marshall County, elevating the current charge to a second or subsequent offense — a more serious classification under Kentucky law.

She was booked into the McCracken County Regional Jail and faces one count of Trafficking in a Controlled Substance, First Degree (Methamphetamine), Second or Subsequent Offense.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing and warn that additional arrests and charges are expected.

Anyone with information related to illegal drug activity in the area is urged to contact the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office at 270-444-4719, or submit an anonymous tip through West Kentucky Crime Stoppers by calling 270-443-TELL.
