(LEXINGTON, Ky.) — The Marshall County High School archery team capped its season in style, finishing ninth out of 22 competing squads at the 2026 KHSAA State Archery Tournament, held inside the Central Bank Center in Lexington.

The Marshals posted a team score of 1,974, earning a spot solidly inside the top half of the field and cementing what has been a terrific season for the program.

The Central Bank Center provided a fitting stage for the state’s best young archers. Competitors faced the pressure of a large arena as they took aim in a disciplined indoor format, drawing on months of range practice and mental preparation.

The 2026 KHSAA State Archery Tournament marks the conclusion of Marshall County’s archery season. The program thanks coaches, parents, and the school community for their support throughout the year.
