(PADUCAH, Ky.) – The Marshall County Lady Marshals delivered an impressive offensive performance Tuesday night, defeating the Paducah Tilghman Lady Tornado at Jetton Field in a dominant display of teamwork and skill.
The Lady Marshals found the back of the net eight times in the victory, with contributions coming from across the roster. Senior Chaney Green led the scoring effort with four goals, while freshman Maeci Moryl added two goals of her own. Seniors Addi Wall and Rylee Teague each contributed one goal to round out the scoring.
The offensive explosion was supported by excellent playmaking, as the team recorded six assists on the night. Green not only led in goals but also contributed with assists, demonstrating her versatility on the field. Sophomore Addison Peterson, freshman Maddie Reed, senior Lexie Driver, and junior Lily Hays each recorded one assist to help set up their teammates’ scoring opportunities.
In goal, senior Savannah Dodd earned the shutout victory with three saves, keeping a clean sheet throughout the match and not allowing a single goal.
