(PADUCAH, Ky.) – Marshall County Middle School cross country runners competed in the Boys 4k Run at the St. Mary Invitational on Friday, September 20, 2025, at Noble Park in Paducah.
Six Marshall County athletes participated in the competitive field of 67 runners from across the region. Leading the Marshall County contingent was seventh-grader Finn Owens, who finished 19th overall with a time of 17:59.73.
Eighth-grader Brady Miller followed closely behind, placing 26th with a time of 18:32.22. Fellow eighth-grader Jordan Offenback rounded out the top three Marshall County finishers in 32nd place at 19:04.68.
The remaining Marshall County runners included sixth-grader Eddy Davis (53rd, 22:09.01), seventh-grader Stevie Lang (66th, 36:02.87), and eighth-grader Charlee Cathey (67th, 40:20.00).
The race was won by Carterville, Illinois eighth-grader Ethan Swartz in 14:28.47, followed by Dresden Middle School’s Benjamin Pettit in 14:31.96.
