(WEST PADUCAH, Ky.) – Marshall County cross country athlete Sam Martin placed 88th at the McCracken County Invitational held this past Saturday, as the team continues its competitive season.
The Marshall County cross country teams are preparing for a busy weekend ahead with competitions at two different venues. On Thursday, September 12th, runners will travel to Alabama to participate in the Southern Showcase, an event presented by Huntsville High School. The following day, Friday, September 13th, the teams will return closer to home for the Laker Invitational in Murray.
The back-to-back meets will provide the Marshall County runners with valuable racing experience as they work to build fitness and competitive edge throughout the season. Both events are expected to feature strong fields from across the region.
