(DRAFFENVILLE, Ky.)-Marshall County School District has scheduled its annual Back to School and Open House events for the coming week, signaling the approaching start of the new academic year.
Elementary School Events
Benton Elementary will host its event on Thursday, August 7th. New families are invited to attend from 5:30 PM, while returning families can visit between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
Calvert Elementary schedules its Back to School night for Thursday, August 7th. New families with students in grades 1-5 should attend from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by returning families from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Central Elementary offers two separate events: a Kindergarten open house on Tuesday, August 5th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (families are encouraged to attend for the full duration), and a grades 1-5 open house on August 7th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in a drop-in format.
Jonathan Elementary will conduct Kindergarten and New Student Orientation at 5:00 PM on August 7th, followed by the returning students event for grades 1-5 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
Sharpe Elementary holds its open house on August 8th, with new students in grades 1-5 visiting from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and Kindergarten plus all returning students from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
South Marshall Elementary will welcome Kindergarten and new students at 5:00 PM on August 7th, with grades 1-5 following from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Middle School Events
North Marshall Middle School provides locker access for 7th and 8th grade students on August 6-7 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a dedicated session for 6th grade and new students on August 11th from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
South Marshall Middle School offers locker days for all students on August 6-7 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and hosts 6th grade and new student orientation on August 11th from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
High School Event
Marshall County High School will conduct its open house on August 7th with two sessions: grades 10-12 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, and 9th grade from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Both sessions operate on a flexible attendance basis.
