(BENTON, Ky.) — Marshall County nonprofit organizations have a new chance to boost their fundraising efforts this holiday season through the annual Christmas in the Park celebration at Mike Miller Park.
The Marshall County Parks Department has opened applications for local nonprofits wanting to collect donations during the popular light show, which attracts thousands of visitors each December. This partnership allows community organizations to tap into the holiday spirit while supporting their missions.
“Christmas in the Park continues to be one of our most beloved community events,” said a Parks Department representative. “By including local nonprofits, we’re able to extend the impact beyond just holiday entertainment to meaningful community support.”
Only Marshall County-based nonprofit organizations are eligible to participate in the donation collection program. Selected groups will be strategically positioned throughout the event to engage with visitors and share information about their causes.
