(Land Between the Lakes, Ky.)– The Woodlands Nature Station in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area will host their 29th annual Hummingbird Festival Aug. 2-3, 2025, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Hummingbird lovers will delight in a natural spectacle as hundreds of ruby-throated hummingbirds visit the native gardens to fuel up for their migration south to Central America.
Visitors can celebrate this year’s theme of Avian Art by exploring our pollinator art gallery, browsing nature art from local artisans, and creating hummingbird crafts. The festival will also feature a hummingbird banding demonstration with Southeastern Avian Research, a native plant sale with Ironweed Nursery, hummingbird and pollinator presentations, kid’s activities, and more. The Woodlands Nature Station is located within Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area at 3146 Silver Trail Road, Cadiz, Kentucky, 42211.
