
EuroCup participants secure versatile forward with extensive international experience
(ATHENS, Greece) – Panathlitikos has announced the signing of American forward Ke’Shunan James, adding a proven scorer and leader to their roster for the upcoming season. The Jackson, Tennessee native brings a decorated collegiate career and extensive professional experience across multiple European leagues.
James, who was inducted into the Murray State Hall of Fame in 2023, established herself as one of the most prolific scorers in Racers history. The explosive forward finished as the program’s second all-time leading scorer with 2,119 career points and earned Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year honors in 2018.
During her final NCAA season, James averaged an impressive 21.4 points, 8.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists, and 1.9 steals per game while leading the OVC in both scoring and steals. Her single-game scoring record of 41 points remains a testament to her offensive capabilities.
Since turning professional, the versatile forward has competed across five countries, building an impressive resume that includes four consecutive Slovak League Championships from 2022-2025 and two Central European Women’s League (CEWL) titles. Her dominant performances earned her Eurobasket.com Player of the Year recognition in both the CEWL and Slovak Extraliga.
James has demonstrated consistent scoring ability throughout her international career, averaging 18.7 points per game in Slovakia and 24.8 points per game during her stint in Australia’s NBL1 East. Her 2025 EuroCup statistics showcase her well-rounded game, contributing 16.2 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game while shooting an exceptional 91.2% from the free-throw line.
With over 40 individual honors and multiple MVP titles to her name, James joins Panathlitikos as they prepare for EuroCup competition. The signing represents a significant addition for the Greek club as they look to build on their European ambitions with a player known for her leadership qualities and winning mentality.
James is expected to make her debut for Panathlitikos in the coming weeks as the team continues preparation for the new season.
