Marshall County Special Olympics Softball Team Wins Doubleheader in First Home Games

(Benton, Ky.)– The Marshall County Special Olympics softball team made history this past weekend with their first-ever home game — and what a debut it was. In an exciting doubleheader matchup against Christian County, the Marshals claimed victory in both games, thrilling fans and showcasing their determination and team spirit.

In Game 1, the Marshals battled hard and mounted a dramatic comeback in the bottom of the final inning to edge out Christian County with a 5-4 win. The energy carried into the second game, where Marshall County held strong to earn another win with a final score of 6-4.

The event marked a significant milestone for the program and was met with overwhelming support from fans and the local community. Cheers echoed throughout the field as families, friends, and supporters filled the stands to celebrate this proud moment.
