Cool Critters Day Approaches at the Woodlands Nature Station

(Land Between the Lakes, KY) -The Woodlands Nature Station in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area invites families to visit on July 12th, to meet animals from around the world. “On Cool Critters Day, you can meet more animals at the Nature Station than any other day of the year.” says marketing coordinator Annabelle Barr, “This year, we are celebrating reptiles through our special guests and activities.”

Learn about amazing critters from our special presenters including the Kentucky Reptile Zoo, Animalogy, Lee Family Farms, and UK Entomology. Cool Critters Day will feature kid-friendly fun with live animal programs, kids’ crafts and games, face painting, a bounce house, and more.
