Charles Larry Knotts, 85, passed away June 8th, 2025 at Mercy Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
Larry, son of Luther and Irene Knotts, was born on May 10th, 1940 in Butler County, Missouri. He worked at a number of jobs over the years but if you ask Larry his occupation, he would have quickly said the job he loved the most was farming.
He was married to Reba Sawyer on June 24, 1967 in Kennett, Missouri.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Reba (Sawyer) Knotts and his brother Leon Shepard. Larry is survived by his sister Brenda Cumins, his brother Richard Knotts, his sons Shane (Amy) Knotts, Kevin (Kim) Knotts, Damon Knotts; grandchildren Kayla Knotts, Derek Knotts, Briley Knotts, Hanna (Colby) Watson and Chloe (Matthew) Newcome.
Visitation will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 14th at Calvert City Church of Christ in Calvert City, Kentucky immediately followed by a funeral service at 12:00 pm in the same location. A Sunday graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 15th at Mt. Gilead Cemetery on Hwy 25, Clarkton, Missouri.
