Paducah Man arrested on drug charges

On June 2, 2025, at approximately 10:30 pm, McCracken County Sheriff Deputies were dispatched to the area of Bleich Road and Old Mayfield Road for a reported collision involving a pedestrian. It was reported a male was lying in the ditch near a bicycle and the concerned citizen believed they had been hit by a vehicle.

Upon Deputies arrival and through investigation, it was determined no collision had occurred. Anthony Kladis, 49, of Paducah, was located and found to be under the influence of narcotics. Due to his impairment, he was acting erratic and was lying in the grass. It was also discovered Kladis had two active warrants for his arrest. During a search of his person Deputies located a quantity of methamphetamine. Kladis was transported to McCracken County Regional Jail.

Charges:

Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Deg, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)

Drug paraphernalia – buy / possess

Public intoxication – controlled substance

Two McCracken County bench warrants for failure to appear
