Carol Ann Phelps, 72, of Wingo, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Tristar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Carol was born on September 11, 1952, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Duigiud Warren and Rebecca Kathleen Lockhart Warren. Aspiring to help others eventually led her to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse for Birchtree Healthcare in Clinton, where her care and compassion could comfort many people throughout the years. Outside of work, Carol enjoys her downtime, relaxing, and watching some of her favorite shows on TV. More than anything else, Carol was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two sons, Matthew Phelps (Gabriela) of Robards, Kentucky, and Andrew Phelps (Erin) of Mayfield, Kentucky; and her two grandchildren, Allie Phelps and Nathan Phelps.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Duigiud Warren and Rebecca Kathleen Lockhart Warren.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the Life Celebration Center of Filbeck-Cann, 1003 Poplar Street, Benton, Kentucky.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Fooks Cemetery in Benton, Kentucky.
