Local pickleball players in compete in Paducah, Hopkinsville and Texas

Local pickleball players from our area played in several tournaments November 5-10.  Jennie Stuart Wound Healing Blue Ribbon Tournament was held at the Hopkinsville Sportsplex with 73 entries playing on six indoor courts. Paddle Up Paducah at Noble Park with 110 entries played on eight dedicated courts. The 2024 Lapiplasty Pickleball World Championships in Farmers Branch, TX with over 3500 entries was played on 70 courts. Dax Myhand and Jason Jones earned a Golden Ticket at the CIBC PPA Atlanta Slam this summer to be eligible to play in this tournament. Their division was 3.5 Men’s Doubles 50-59 years of age.
