Re: Burglary Investigations
The Graves County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance with two residential burglaries they are investigating that occurred this week.
The first burglary occurred at a residence near KY 58 East and the Marshall County Line. A residence was burglarized between 7:40 AM and 4:50 PM on Monday, November 4, 2024. Items taken included musical instruments, a laptop, cash, a handgun, and jewelry. At this time, the Sheriff’s Office has no suspects. Deputy John Cavin is investigating this burglary.
The second burglary occurred between 4:30 PM on November 4, 2024 and 6:00 AM on November 5, 2024. This burglary occurred at a residence in the Natchez Trace, Lake Terry Drive and Terri Aire Drive area, just south of Mayfield. Collectibles were stolen from this residence. Deputy Chad Hall is investigating this burglary.

Methamphetamine Arrest
At approximately 2:15 AM on Friday, November 8, 2024, Deputy Tyler Crane observed a vehicle parked in the cemetery near the intersection of KY 131 and Kaler Mill Road. Deputy Crane checked on the vehicle and discovered it was occupied by Alan D. Fleming, 61 of Paducah, and a passenger.
While speaking with Fleming, Deputy Crane discovered evidence of illegal drug use and a search of the vehicle and Fleming’s person was conducted methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were located on Fleming’s person and in his vehicle. Fleming claimed ownership of the items and was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 2nd Offense – Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
He was lodged at an out of county jail facility. Deputy Crane was assisted by Deputy Austin Ramage.

Re: Hit and Run Accident
Late Tuesday evening November 05, 2024 a hit and run accident occurred in the Mega Gym parking lot located at 1102 Paris Road in Mayfield. The 2020 and up Chevrolet 2500HD pickup as shown in the video struck a parked vehicle, then fled the scene.
Eyewitnesses reported additional information to the sheriff’s office that is being investigated.
The sheriff’s office urges the driver of this vehicle to contact the sheriffs office.
