Marshall County cheerleaders win awards at UCA Masters Camp

The Marshall County High School cheerleaders attended the UCA Masters Camp at Western Kentucky University July 23-26 and came away with many awards and accolades.

• On day one, they won a Superior ribbon in Cheer and Spirit Stick.
• On day two they won a Superior ribbon in Stunt Sequence and Spirit Stick. Sarah Tubbs placed top three in back tuck and Mackenzie Cunningham placed in the top four in jump competition.
• On day three, they won a Superior in Camp Routine and Spirit Stick.
• On the final day, the squad won an overall Superior rating and Most Improved. Three team members were All American recipients – Kari Hendricks, Halle Hackney and Clara Gregory. Kylee James and Jacy Kee received “Pin it Forward” awards.
