On 7/19/24 a Narcotics Detective with the Calloway /Marshall county drug task force along with the Marshall County Sheriff’s office deputies was attempting to serve a felony indictment arrest warrant on a Shawn Davis at his residence on Captain Morgan Dr in Marshall County, while in the Pirates Cove area Davis was spotted operating a motor vehicle. Detective attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Davis. Davis fled from deputies in his vehicle traveling from Marshall County into Calloway County and returning back into Marshall County. Davis drove his vehicle into a wooded area in Marshall County and fled on foot. Marshall Co Sheriff’s Office K-9 was deployed and Davis was apprehended a short time later. Davis was served his indictment warrant for conspiracy to traffic in a controlled substance 1st degree and persistent felony offender l. Davis was also charged with reckless driving, fleeing evading police 1st degree (vehicle), fleeing evading police 2nd degree (foot). Davis was out on bond for drug possession charges when this offense occurred.
On 07/18/2024, Bobby Williams (49) of Benton KY, was arrested on an indictment warrant issued out of Marshall Circuit Court. Williams was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine greater that 2 grams) and trafficking in a controlled substance 2nd or greater offense (opiates).
On 07/18/2024, Jessica Stamper (36) of Calvert City KY, was arrested on a criminal complaint warrant issued out of Marshall district court for the charge of theft of identity.
On 07/18/2024, Erica Ringstaff (31) of Paducah KY, was arrested on on an indictment warrant issued out of Marshall Circuit court for the charge of flagrant non support.
On 07/15/2024, Connie Ham (60) of Paducah KY, was arrested when the vehicle that she was operating was stopped on US 62 in Marshall County. K-9 indicated a presence of the odor of narcotics in the vehicle. A search revealed methamphetamine and a glass smoking device. Ham was charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine) 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
07/14/2024, Nicholas Jarvis (41) of Madisonville KY, was arrested for being a fugitive from justice due to having an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. Jarvis was also arrested on an indictment warrant for receiving stolen property $10,000 or more issued out of Marshall Circuit court.
On 07/12/2024, William Hayden (33) of Benton KY, was arrested on when deputies were called to a residence due to an altercation. Victim stated that Hayden had put his hand around their throat and cut of their airway. Hayden had also thrown an object at the victim striking the victim in the head. Hayden admitted to the above allegations and was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on the charges of strangulation 1st degree and assault 4th degree.
On 07/14/2024 deputies were assisting Calvert Police Department on a traffic stop of a golf cart that was observed being driven on a sidewalk in Calvert City. Levi Brown (18) of Calvert City KY, was arrested for alcohol intoxication in a public place. Another passenger of the golf cart, Ethan Wathen (18) of Calvert City, was also arrested for alcohol intoxication in a public place. The driver of the golf cart was arrested by Calvert Police department.
On 07/11/2024, Kyle Graham (38) of Benton KY, was arrested for alcohol intoxication in a public place when deputies responded to Johnston Subdivision due to a disagreement with neighbors.
On 07/10/2024, Cedric Pounds (43) of Owensboro KY, was arrested on a bench warrant issued out of Daviess Circuit court for the charge of failure to appear.
On 07/13/2024, Kyle Nelson (44) of Benton KY, was arrested when the motorcycle he was operating was stopped on US 641 N in Marshall County. It was discovered that Nelson had a suspended license and no motorcycle license. Nelson was also charged with no insurance and other traffic offenses.
