Terry Davis, 75 of Calvert City, KY died on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Born Saturday, July 24, 1948, in Kenvir, KY, he was the son of the late Columbus Cecil Davis and the late Pauline (Hensley) Davis.
Terry was a veteran of the United States Airforce and later retired from Air Products as a chemical operator. Terry was a member of the Calvert City Country Club where enjoyed golfing and attended Cross Roads Methodist Church. He was also the former president of the Calvert City Lions Club and the former president of the Marshall County Quarterback Club. Terry helped form several of the little leagues in Marshall County including little league football and soccer. He was inducted into the Marshall County Sports Hall of Fame in 2014 for these contributions.
Terry is survived by his wife, Carole Ann (Ray) Davis of Calvert City, KY; sons, Brandon Scott Davis wife Jessica of Benton, KY, Terry Lee Davis wife Rae Anne of Montgomery, OH; sister Ena Diane Morris of Paducah, KY; and five grandchildren, Hadlie Butler, Logan Davis, Oaklie Davis, Alexandra Davis and Ainslee Davis.
A graveside service will be at 1:30 PM on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, located on highway 641 N., in Benton, KY 42025 with Rev. Aaron Dowdy officiating.
Interment will follow the service in Marshall Co. Memory Gardens, Benton, KY.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Collier Funeral Home, located at 211 West 5th St., Benton, KY 42025.
