Rachel Elizabeth Duren, age 44, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at her home on June 14, 2024.
Known for her vibrant spirit and boundless compassion, Rachel leaves behind a legacy of devotion, particularly evident in her unwavering commitment to her role as a CNA at Hamilton Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and her membership at Bethel Christian Church.
Rachel’s zest for life was infectious to all who knew her. Her sons were the center of her world, and she relished every moment spent cheering at their sports events. An advocate for the great outdoors and family vacations, Rachel created a multitude of cherished memories. Her home was a sanctuary to her sons and their friends, always filled with laughter, energetic conversations, and home-cooked meals. Rachel was that rare soul you could count on to elevate others with her unique charm and willingness to help at a moment’s notice.
Rachel is survived by two sons, Cody Duren of Paducah and Nolan Duren of Henderson, Kentucky; her father, Kyle Duren of Paducah; one brother, Ryan Duren (Melissa) of Kevil; and niece and nephew, Abigayle Duren and Reed Duren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pam Duren.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Bethel Christian Church with Rev. Keith Tilford and Rev. Nate Hillebrand officiating.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until the 6:00 pm service time on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Bethel Christian Church.
